Dialog box appears with ! sign in a yellow triangle appears while accessing Windows Explorer

Original Title: explorer.exe file creating problem......     

i bought an hp laptop with genuine windows 8.....

earlier it operated nycly bt nw its encountering a problem. when i switch on my lapy the home screens comes in front of me bt without doing anything suddenly desktop opens & a dialog box appear with ! sign in a yellow triangle & written explorer.exe. m facing this problem for more thn a month & my laptop z also slowed down. i have thoroughly scanned my pc with avast internet security & windows defender bt no result came out except 3 viruses which i deleted on the spot.

if any person can help me out in getting rid of this problem i will b very thankful to him/her.

    Hello Microsoft

    SFC scan did help me fix my problem. i was getting a blank dialog boz evertime time i try to open explorer. Was not allowing me to do anything. Ran a couple of scan without much help. Finally saw the reply posted by one of your engineer in this forums. Yaqub K suggestions were very much to the mark and that helped me  to fix this anoying problem of mine. Thanks again

    sir i hv saved the event files in .evtx format bt unable to attach here.....

    its showing /FUD error....

    what to do nw?

    sir i hv found some warning sign & error messages in system log

    Hi Ashish,

    Could you please provide us the event viewer logs to find the exact cause and to troubleshoot the issue further.

    NOTE: Try to access Windows Explorer, so that event viewer record the logs.

    Event Viewer is a tool that displays detailed information about significant events (for example, programs that don't start as expected or updates that are downloaded automatically) on your computer. Event Viewer can be helpful when troubleshooting problems and errors with Windows and other programs.

    1. Press the Windows key and X and select Event Viewer.
    2. This will bring up the Event Viewer box. Click to open the event viewer.
    3. In the left pane, expand out Windows Logs.
    4. Most of your event will be Information. You may see Yellow Warnings or Red Errors.

    Note: Also applies for Windows 8.
