Original Title: explorer.exe file creating problem......     

i bought an hp laptop with genuine windows 8.....

earlier it operated nycly bt nw its encountering a problem. when i switch on my lapy the home screens comes in front of me bt without doing anything suddenly desktop opens & a dialog box appear with ! sign in a yellow triangle & written explorer.exe. m facing this problem for more thn a month & my laptop z also slowed down. i have thoroughly scanned my pc with avast internet security & windows defender bt no result came out except 3 viruses which i deleted on the spot.

if any person can help me out in getting rid of this problem i will b very thankful to him/her.

    Hi Ashish,

    Please assist me with the following information related to this issue:

    1. Is there any proxy settings enabled on the computer?
    2. Do you receive any error message when you try to install apps?

    Make sure that you have install all the pending updates offered in windows updates.

    I would suggest you to follow a few troubleshooting methods mentioned below.

    Method 1: What to do if you have problems with an app.

    In many cases, the Apps will automatically notify if there are problem with any app and try to fix the problem. If the Apps don’t notify the problem you are experiencing problems with an app.

    I would suggest you to run the Apps troubleshooter from the link above.

    Method 2:

    Try to reset the Windows Store cache and check if the issue persists:

    a. Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, and then tap Search.

    b. Enter “Run” without quotes in the search box, then tap or click Run.

    c. Type “WSReset.exe” without quotes and press Enter.

    hi sir,

    my store app z malfunctioning, m connnected to net bt its saying dat ur pc isn't connected to net or it says v r unable to connect to store....

    also it use to open normally bt whenever i tried to install any app either d app failed to (download & install) or after installation it failed to open....

    i tried to download facebook app bt it showed dat pc z uncompatible 4 it.....

    what to do??
