0x00000019 0x0000000000000021 when using readyboost

I let memtest86+ run for 12 hours, no errors. I did notice something odd though. it appears my memory is actually slightly under clocked, the SPD identifies the memory as ddr3-1066 but the system is running it as ddr3-1064. I don't know if this would cause errors though. The SODIMMS that I'm using were instaledl at the Toshiba factory when I ordered my system, so I would assume that they would put in the right memory.

Toshiba hid many (and by many I mean most of them) of the options one would normally find in the bios setup screen. this includes RAM memory speed and other RAM related settings. Supposedly there is a way to access the hidden options, but I don't know how. I think it involves a USB device and a special password or something

I don't think I can update them intel stuff, as I ran into trouble when I tried to update the chipset drivers to the latest hm55 chipset drivers. the problem there was related to the way that Toshiba had setup the system to recognize the intel drivers was not updated when intel changed the names of the system devices. the device "Intel(R) 5 Series 4 Port SATA AHCI Controller" received a name change at some point in later versions of the chipset drivers. this caused the Toshiba utilities to stop working when the chipset drivers were updated. the same problem crops up when I try to update to the latest Intel Rapid Storage software.

I will try to see if Intel management software has the same issues.

regi is now uninstalled. it was supposed to have been uninstalled long ago, but appearently it wasn't. I found a directory called regi in the windows directory that had an regi.msi file. I right clicked it and told it to uninstall. so hopefully it is really gone now

I am curious as to why you would want me to Uninstall Malwarebyes Anti-Exploit. I use it to help mitigate new and yet to be discovered security holes in java and in flash. is this just a temporary measure or are you saying don't use it?

I managed to find a newer version of the Intel Management Engine on the Toshiba website listed under the utilities section for my PC

how do I go about updating xusb21.sys? this is a M$ file used for my Xbox360 controller for windows. I have the latest version of the drivers installed

I don't. I thought you might have overlooked it when you removed all the other Mbam products, earlier in the thread.
