Thank you for detailed response on this issue. Your guessing might be correct or even coincidence. This BSOD may be caused due to 32 GB card or some incompatible drivers on the computer. Initially make sure you have latest Windows Updates installed on the computer including optional updates. Refer to: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-IN/windows7/Install-Windows-updates

Also it may help us to find the exact cause of the issue after looking at the minidump files. Please check the Private Message sent by Forum Moderator to upload the dump files.

Important: While performing chkdsk on the hard drive if any bad sectors are found on the hard drive when chkdsk tries to repair that sector if any data available on that might be lost

Also, It may help to look at the minidump files from the blue screen crashes with a debugger.

Can you zip up the minidump files in the C:\Windows\Minidump folder and make available (provide link) via a public folder on OneDrive or similar site?

If you have problems zipping the minidump files copy the minidump files to another location such as a folder on the Desktop

Also, you do not necessarily have to zip up the minidump files, you can upload them one at a time

sorry for the delayed response, I was waiting for an email to appear saying that someone had posted here, but it never showed. any way I got the minidump files for you, will upload them to my skydrive now

the most annoying thing about this is I have sat at my computer letting windows idle with almost all background apps closed, while watching TV, and out of the corner of my eye, see windows BSOD on me. it does not occur when I don't have the SD card plugged in.

last night after another BSOD, I unselected the 'dedicate this drive to readyboost' option and ran "chkdsk /f /r /b f:" it came back with some strange messages im not used to seeing from chkdsk, after that, I did a quick format by doing a "format f: /fs:ntfs /q"

various chkdsk commands repeatedly turned up errors and no errors. I am going to try switching the FS to ExFAT top see if the chkdsk errors and bsod's still occur

UPDATE :

switching the card to ExFAT seems to have stopped the seemingly random results I was getting from chkdsk.

 I wonder if this will solve the BSOD's too

having the card inserted but not confiigured for readyboost does not seem to trigger the bsod's I have been having. only when readyboost is activated will the system bsod on me suddenly

The minidump files showed a BAD_POOL_HEADER (19) referencing the rdyboost.sys.

BUCKET_ID:  X64_0x19_21_rdyboost!ST_STORE_SMD_TRAITS_::StCompactionPerformFile+3b1

However one of the dump files showed possible involvement of the  DKTLFSMF.sys (Diskeeper driver)

and the  edevmon.sys (ESET driver).

What I might suggest is uninstall both Diskeeper and ESET and see if things improve,

For security software consider Microsoft Security Essentials and Windows built-in firewall.

If the blue screen errors re-occurs please provide the resulting minidump file(s).
