0x00000019 0x0000000000000021 when using readyboost

I use readyboost on my pc because it improves the speed of some the games I play (Battlefield 4, in particular). I have been using a 16 Gb. USB Flash drive since 2010 without any problem. But I recently added a 32 Gb. XD (SD) card to use for readyboost. I can access the card fine, and chkdsk says there are no errors, but since I have started using the card, I keep getting random 0x19 BSOD stop errors. the parameter is 0x21. I do not know what to do next or why readyboost is causing this error. it goes away when I stop using the 32Gb card. the full error is:

The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck.  The bugcheck was: 0x00000019 (0x0000000000000021, 0xfffffa8010f19000, 0x0000000000001030, 0xb03c3740a81a7de7). A dump was saved in: C:\windows\Minidump\081814-32292-01.dmp. Report Id: 081814-32292-01.

I suspect readyboost is the cause of the issue, because the only difference in conditions between when it does and it does not happen is, is the use of the 32Gb card. I know that there is a 32Gb limit to the size of the memory card I can use. but using the max size should not be causing any issues

just found a newer version of the SD card drivers, dated 2012.  am going to see if this fixes the stop errors first.

    UPDATE:

Interesting...... with the new driver there is a warning message that was not present with the previous drivers in the readyboost tab. it reads: "ReadyBoost may not work well with a Secure Digital (SD) card on this computer Learn why."

Well, after three problem free days another Stop error occurred. at this point, I am going to try Toshiba's advice, and try a factory restore. although, since there have been no driver updates to the device, I don't know how I would then be able to tell if it is a hardware issue or a driver issue. any thoughts on that?

i looked inside of the driver update install files from Toshiba (which were executable ZIP files) and the only dll driver files present were for the "O2Micro Integrated MS/MSPRO/xD Controller" and not the "O2Micro Integrated MMC/SD controller" device, which is the one that uses o2sdgx64.sys. I have reinstalled the original drivers that came with the laptop, and then installed the supposed driver updates just for good measure. I am going to feel real stupid if the cause of this ordeal was a corrupted driver. That is something I should have been able to figure out on my own. I will wait for a couple of days to see if I get another stop error. and then i'll post back. odds are, that it will act up again once I give the all clear.....

    well until then,

                             Fingers crossed everyone!

Not particularly, no. You can uninstall the drivers for the card reader + disable the device entirely through Device Manager and see if the crashes stop for awhile. If they do, you know it's the card reader.

well it is not the ram, as auggy (I think) had me do a memory test, which I ran for 12 hours with no errors. there is no new USB device. I am using the card reader built into the laptop for the first time. I did open up a thread at the Toshiba forums, and they replied saying that it was not the driver as it had been extensively test with hardware before release, I don't know whether I believe that or not. but they said it could be a defective card reader and to do a factory restore to see if the issue persists. doing a factory restore seems to be their answer for everything.

is there some kind of test I can run to make sure the card reader is operating properly?

I don't think it is the car it self as all 32gb are accessible and there are no bad sectors detected. That, and the card is brand new. name brand and not knock off.
