How to install Apps in SD Card in Windows 8.1 ?

May I know whether is there any way to enable us to install windows store apps into the micro SD card, since my 16GB Dell Tablet is running out of memory. I am using Windows 8.1 (Not RT) ?

Hi Yaman,

By default Windows Store apps will be saved in the following location.

C:\Program Files\WindowsApps

Hence, it is not possible to move Windows Store apps to SD card.

I would suggest you to delete the unnecessary files from the computer and check if it improves in memory.

You may also get in touch with the manufacturer to increase the memory.

    This used to work with Windows 8. But with 8.1, either they break it or they disabled the "feature". Now, even Windows Phone 8.1 can do this natively without any registry hack.

    I totally Agree.  I love my surface 2 but why have an app store for a device that won't let you install to SD.  To me that makes the marketing tactic a scam in that you cannot increase the storage so to speak because we can't use it the way we all know we should be able to.  Very poor decision on Mpg part.

    I just updated my Dell Venue Pro 8 to 8.1 update and now I have even less space, but still no option that I could find to install apps to an SD card. Pretty disappointing.
