How to install Apps in SD Card in Windows 8.1 ?

May I know whether is there any way to enable us to install windows store apps into the micro SD card, since my 16GB Dell Tablet is running out of memory. I am using Windows 8.1 (Not RT) ?

Hi Yaman,

By default Windows Store apps will be saved in the following location.

C:\Program Files\WindowsApps

Hence, it is not possible to move Windows Store apps to SD card.

I would suggest you to delete the unnecessary files from the computer and check if it improves in memory.

You may also get in touch with the manufacturer to increase the memory.

    This is such a maddening issue. I hardly have any apps on my tablet, had to uninstall almost everything.  AND the only way I am able to use my tablet now is to turn OFF the windows updates.  That's what used up all the memory.  

    I now run diskclean a couple of times a week, and don't allow windows updates. I may look at the most critical ones and consider them individually, but if i let all updates run, the tablet is toast in no time. I had to reset to factory settings and start from scratch, turn off auto win updates and limit my apps.  Not fun at all.  Not that there are many decent win 8 apps at this point. I do love win 8, and this tab, but so terribly limiting and a terrible disappointment as is. 

    If you don't come up with a fix for this, i will NEVER buy another DELL machine, either pc, laptop or tab.  I have a 32gb sd card on here but can't get a thing to move to it.  

    If a 32GB can't run win 8.1 THEN DON'T SELL IT!

    Just got a Dell Venue 8 Pro 32gb.  Great tablet but I've already ran out of space due to app install between 3 users.  is there any plan to fix this problem by allowing us to install app on sdcard?

    I agree.  its crazy that this features was available (albeit unsupported) on 8, but is now not available.  Why take that away when you have 32gb tablets that are trying to run rt and pro features like the Dell Venue 8 pro.... now I need to return this tablet and go back to Android or buy a tablet with a larger hd.... its a shame

    While this is true, it was possible to move Windows Store apps to a different directory before 8.1.

    For those of us who do have devices with low amounts of internal drive space, it was great to have that ability.

    Is there a uservoice or anything similar for Windows 8 where we can submit feature requests like we can for Windows Phone?
