    Symptom: <br><br>Unable to install the KB2862330 v2 on machine (DESKTOP) running Windows 7. <br><br> <br><br>Cause: <br><br>AVG Antivirus or USBEHCI devices probably interrupting the installation. <br><br> <br><br>Resolution: <br><br>Uninstalled AVG, disabled USBEHCI devices and clean boot the machine. <br><br> <br><br>Additional Information: <br><br><br><br><br>Additional info from the case notes<br><br><br> <br><br><br>P.S. the update http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;2533552 is that one that needs to be installed ahead of time.

    Thanks Phil for going through the support channel.  (Susan, can you e-mail me the case # so I can look through the notes and see if I can find the report that is to be analyzed?)

    What CBS text document was forwarded? I might be able to provide some background info. CBS is the servicing engine in Windows, so the text file is probably a log file or installation manifest of some kind.

    Hi again Susan, the antivirus that needed to be uninstalled prior and reinstalled after the update was Avast Free. - Phil
