    Re: Josagan    Assuming that you mean STOP: 0x00000050 , I can't see the connection with this thread. Please start a new thread and mention what version of Windows you have, and what hardware you have, and any recent software changes.

    If you can boot into the Windows desktop without a getting a blue screen, uninstall the update: control panel > programs & features > view installed updates and right click on KB2862330 and select uninstall. 

    If the blue screen happens in a loop every time the PC boots up (like my Dell did), probably not. However, you can try to boot your PC using the Windows installation disk and doing a startup repair and see if that helps.

    I had the same thing happen (I get Windows updates automatically) and am getting the blue screen with STOP: 9x00000050.  Is there a way to remove the offending update without having to completely restore the system?
