Split from this thread.

I just started having this exact same issue today while trying to email some pictures. Can you help me get it fixed?

    I am having the same problems down here in Cornwall. I cannot send any photos since yesterday.

    Why are Microsoft putting the blame on us.  Why don't they just tell us how to fix it or fix it themselves.

    ... none of the options in the drop down window to the site you've directed us to is applicable to the problem we're experiencing.

    I think the last one fits the bill: I am seeing another warning or error message and quote 0x8CCCD052, if that's the one you're seeing. This is the error returned if the OneDrive account has been blocked for ToU violation.

    As a Moderator can't you flag this problem to the relevant people within Microsoft ...

    It would be wonderful to have such powers. We don't, but I'm trying to make contact anyway.

    @ Firedog that's the point I'm making, I haven't violated any Terms of Use so not applicable.

    Thanks for trying to make contact.

    No, and I assume that the same applies to the great majority of users affected by this fault. Nevertheless,

    • It's a more forceful way of drawing attention to the problem than simply tacking a Me too post on to a forum thread;
    • It is possible that if an account reset at the server would remove the fault, the agent seeing a support ticket can carry out such a reset and get us back on the road sooner;
    • The support staff are paranoid about users revealing personally identifiable information in the public forums. They are much happier dealing with account-related issues in the secure private sphere that the support ticket system operates in.

    I don't expect any reaction from MSFT until they've woken up in Redmond sometime this afternoon GMT - if then.
