OneDrive is temporarily unavailable - Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x8CCCD052

Are you able to access your OneDrive accountusing a web browser? YES

Are you able to share files directly from your OneDrive account using the share options? YES

Are you able to send a simple email using your Windows Live Mail? YES

When sending an email using Outlook.com via this link: https://mail.live.com with photos attached from your OneDrive account, are you able to do this? YES

When you said "When I look at the OneDrive folder i see lots of "test 2 112220 PM" type subfolders.", are you referring to your OneDrive folder via Windows Explorer or via a web browser? Both

As stated in other emails. Everything seems to work properly with Windows Live Mail except adding a

"Photo album" which get stuck in the Outbox and every time the Outbox attempts to send another subfolder appears in the OneDrive folder in WIndows Explorer with the Subject line of the email with a string of numbers following it as the subfolders name. The subfolder is always empty, unlike the subfolders of photo albums that were sent before the problem started. Inserting photos into an email or adding attachments seems to work fine.

Thank you Upquark for your reply. Every answer you have provided matches what I am going though. What I don't understand is this: if the rest of us are all having the exact same issue, from different locations, and different versions of Windows, why do the moderators still treat us like its something on the client end? Seems to me that Microsoft has changed something on the server end of things that is effecting all of us equally.

I agree I have just been chatting to someone online chat from Microsoft and they directed me to a toll free number to pay for a fix. I think Microsoft have messed up yesterday with the windows update and need to sort this problem or stop selling the product they make enough money out of us. My wife is trying to run a business and can't because of not being able to send photos via windows live mail. Sorry for the winge but loosing the will to live right now.

I have experienced the same scenario with photo and SkyDrive rejections.

When will Microsoft Support address the source of this error with so many customers affected exactly at the same time as Microsoft dispatched their recent software update?

Does it take an IT whiz and scientist to figure out the connection?

We are experiencing the same issue, after this Windows live picture sending functionality through SkyDrive/OneDrive working fine for years. My wife is very upset. Microsoft just updated their OneDrive software yesterday.  I'd guess that is the culprit.  Microsoft please fix this.  Thank You.
