OneDrive is temporarily unavailable - Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x8CCCD052

I too am having same problem. Two days ago I sent a few photo emails and all was ok but today it comes up with the above error message. Have tried on my other computer and it too wont let me. Seems it is happening to everyone all of a sudden. If I send a email and "attach" photos or "insert" it will go through but not other way. I go to my photo albums, click on photos I want to send and click on "email" and it goes to my emails to add addresses. I use windows live mail also. This has not happened before, very frustrating.  Please help me fix this

I am also getting same error message. Attempted to upload photos to sky drive yesterday and following several attempts to send have received the above message. Have recently had to go thro' security process on my log-on which after a few mishaps seems to be working fine but could this have caused the error?

Upquark, I found the same think in my One Drive folder. It would seem that every time Wndows Live Mail attempt to send the email, a folder is created inside One Drive, but for some reason the picture will not upload. I called my folder "Picture test" and ther must have been at least 15 empty folders with that name in my One Drive.

Cherry, I am currently at work and unable to get you log files from my home computer. I could get the log files from this  computer, but I would rather give you the log files from my home computer as that is where my main frustration is coming from. I will tell you this. I have tried 3 separate email accounts on my home computer, I have tried both my home computer and my work laptop, and I have tried both Windows 8.1 (home computer) and Windows 7 (work computer), all with the same result. As someone else has also stated, this all seems to have happened after the last set of Microsoft updates went live. I still firmly believe that this error is being generated on the Microsoft end, and not the client end as all other email functions are operating correctly at this time. Again, I will get the log files for you once I get home tonight. I'm hoping that between you, me, and the other people on this message board that we can figure out how to fix this mess. I to am experiencing the same issue where I am unable to send any emails with a photo album (emails without go just fine).  My OneDrive folder has many folders with the subject line as the name, but all are empty.

I am having the exact same issue.  I can email documents as an attachment, but can not email photos.
