OneDrive is temporarily unavailable - Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x8CCCD052

Upquark, I found the same think in my One Drive folder. It would seem that every time Wndows Live Mail attempt to send the email, a folder is created inside One Drive, but for some reason the picture will not upload. I called my folder "Picture test" and ther must have been at least 15 empty folders with that name in my One Drive.

I too am having same problem. Two days ago I sent a few photo emails and all was ok but today it comes up with the above error message. Have tried on my other computer and it too wont let me. Seems it is happening to everyone all of a sudden. If I send a email and "attach" photos or "insert" it will go through but not other way. I go to my photo albums, click on photos I want to send and click on "email" and it goes to my emails to add addresses. I use windows live mail also. This has not happened before, very frustrating.  Please help me fix this

I am also getting same error message. Attempted to upload photos to sky drive yesterday and following several attempts to send have received the above message. Have recently had to go thro' security process on my log-on which after a few mishaps seems to be working fine but could this have caused the error?

Based from your post, you are getting an error message when sending a photo album using Windows Live Mail. Let me assist you with this.

In order for us to determine the root cause of this issue, please provide us the following information:

• Are you able to access your OneDrive accountusing a web browser?
• Are you able to share files directly from your OneDrive account using the share options?
• Are you able to send a simple email using your Windows Live Mail?
• When sending an email using Outlook.com via this link: https://mail.live.com with photos attached from your OneDrive account, are you able to do this?
• When you said "When I look at the OneDrive folder i see lots of "test 2 112220 PM" type subfolders.", are you referring to your OneDrive folder via Windows Explorer or via a web browser?

I am also having the exact same problem trying to add a Photo album to an email on Windows Live Mail.

This just started  (Windows Update installed lots of updates yesterday)

OneDrive is temporarily unavailable. Try sending your photo email again later.  Subject 'test 2' Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x8CCCD052

When I look at the OneDrive folder i see lots of "test 2 112220 PM" type subfolders.

I am running Windows 8.1 Pro 64 bit. Version    6.3.9600 Build 9600
