OneDrive is temporarily unavailable - Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x8CCCD052

Thank you Upquark for your reply. Every answer you have provided matches what I am going though. What I don't understand is this: if the rest of us are all having the exact same issue, from different locations, and different versions of Windows, why do the moderators still treat us like its something on the client end? Seems to me that Microsoft has changed something on the server end of things that is effecting all of us equally.

Are you able to share files directly from your OneDrive account using the share options? YES

Are you able to send a simple email using your Windows Live Mail? YES

When sending an email using Outlook.com via this link: https://mail.live.com with photos attached from your OneDrive account, are you able to do this? YES

When you said "When I look at the OneDrive folder i see lots of "test 2 112220 PM" type subfolders.", are you referring to your OneDrive folder via Windows Explorer or via a web browser? Both

As stated in other emails. Everything seems to work properly with Windows Live Mail except adding a

"Photo album" which get stuck in the Outbox and every time the Outbox attempts to send another subfolder appears in the OneDrive folder in WIndows Explorer with the Subject line of the email with a string of numbers following it as the subfolders name. The subfolder is always empty, unlike the subfolders of photo albums that were sent before the problem started. Inserting photos into an email or adding attachments seems to work fine.

I am having the exact same issue.  I can email documents as an attachment, but can not email photos.

I to am experiencing the same issue where I am unable to send any emails with a photo album (emails without go just fine).  My OneDrive folder has many folders with the subject line as the name, but all are empty.

Cherry, I am currently at work and unable to get you log files from my home computer. I could get the log files from this  computer, but I would rather give you the log files from my home computer as that is where my main frustration is coming from. I will tell you this. I have tried 3 separate email accounts on my home computer, I have tried both my home computer and my work laptop, and I have tried both Windows 8.1 (home computer) and Windows 7 (work computer), all with the same result. As someone else has also stated, this all seems to have happened after the last set of Microsoft updates went live. I still firmly believe that this error is being generated on the Microsoft end, and not the client end as all other email functions are operating correctly at this time. Again, I will get the log files for you once I get home tonight. I'm hoping that between you, me, and the other people on this message board that we can figure out how to fix this mess.
