OneDrive is temporarily unavailable - Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x8CCCD052

Upquark, I found the same think in my One Drive folder. It would seem that every time Wndows Live Mail attempt to send the email, a folder is created inside One Drive, but for some reason the picture will not upload. I called my folder "Picture test" and ther must have been at least 15 empty folders with that name in my One Drive.

I'm having exactly the same error in Windows Live Mail Version 2012 (Build 16.4.3528.0331) when I try to email photos. It just started today. I have emailed photos successfully for many years, and as recently as last week.  I also have many empty folders on OneDrive that correspond to the Album Names from my emails today.

what happens if we uninstall one drive on both our computers ???? do we really need it. Hope Microsoft are listening to our complaints and fix it SOON

We are experiencing the same issue, after this Windows live picture sending functionality through SkyDrive/OneDrive working fine for years. My wife is very upset. Microsoft just updated their OneDrive software yesterday.  I'd guess that is the culprit.  Microsoft please fix this.  Thank You.

When will Microsoft Support address the source of this error with so many customers affected exactly at the same time as Microsoft dispatched their recent software update?

Does it take an IT whiz and scientist to figure out the connection?

I agree I have just been chatting to someone online chat from Microsoft and they directed me to a toll free number to pay for a fix. I think Microsoft have messed up yesterday with the windows update and need to sort this problem or stop selling the product they make enough money out of us. My wife is trying to run a business and can't because of not being able to send photos via windows live mail. Sorry for the winge but loosing the will to live right now.
