I just started having this exact same issue today while trying to email some pictures. Can you help me get it fixed?

    • It is possible that if an account reset at the server would remove the fault, the agent seeing a support ticket can carry out such a reset and get us back on the road sooner;

    I had a response to my support ticket as follows:

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting us regarding your OneDrive account.  Your Account has been reactivated. If you are still unable to access your OneDrive we recommend you contact the OneDrive technical support team at http://support.microsoft.com/ContactUs/TechnicalSupport?PID=12840&TID=100109598&STID=100109599&ln=en-us .

    Thank you,

    Carissa

    Whatever this reactivation did, it didn't solve the photo email problem. I haven't yet been able to make contact with Answer desk at the link given.

    I am sure they will resolve this - looks like possibly the recent update caused a glitch.  They do need log fils to know where to start debugging, then they reproduce to be sure they know they have it, then they make the fix, then the release a patch.  In the mean time I've had success sharing photos directly from onedrive.com....

    I haven't violated any Terms of Use so not applicable.

    No, and I assume that the same applies to the great majority of users affected by this fault. Nevertheless,

    • It's a more forceful way of drawing attention to the problem than simply tacking a Me too post on to a forum thread;
    • It is possible that if an account reset at the server would remove the fault, the agent seeing a support ticket can carry out such a reset and get us back on the road sooner;
    • The support staff are paranoid about users revealing personally identifiable information in the public forums. They are much happier dealing with account-related issues in the secure private sphere that the support ticket system operates in.

    I don't expect any reaction from MSFT until they've woken up in Redmond sometime this afternoon GMT - if then.

    @ Firedog that's the point I'm making, I haven't violated any Terms of Use so not applicable.
