'October 2013 Update For Root Certificate for Windows XP ' KB 931125 Installed

Xircal stated that the Nov 2013 Root Certificate update was the last one offered so I checked the Windows Update History last night after you responded to my thread and there was a Mar 2014 Root Certificate Update that was installed on Mar 11 so he was misinformed. I just wondered why an old Nov 2013 Root Certificate Update would be offered again 6 days later on Mar 17.

Also, I uninstalled MSE and installed AVG Free last night 'after' you responded to this thread. To be clear, is the Error Code 0x80246008 for KB 2310138 (Definition: 1.169.671.0) related to MSE, XP, IE, or another type of Update?

I realize Defraggler vs Defrag was off-topic but I thought that I would squeeze that question in since it is XP-related. Was Defragglerpre-installed with Windows XP, was it installed automatically when I installed another program, or would I have manually installed it at some point?

I use the built-in Defragmenter so I have no need for both Defragmenter and Defraggler-Is one better than the other and can Defraggler be uninstalled without causing any issues?

You're correct is stating that an update was released this month, but as I mentioned already, I'm using Windows 8.1 now so I don't keep track of what happens in the XP field anymore.

Since you won't answer my questions, I have no idea why the Nov-13 Root Certificates update was offered to your computer (again).

As for KB2310138, what does http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2310138 say it is? [KB2310138 was released on 12 October 2011!]

The two (2) threads you cited are QUESTION threads. In fact, all but one of your threads have been QUESTION threads.

Every Defrag utility has its own opinion of what a properly defragged drive should look like. Pick one & stick with it.  [Hint: The built-in Defrag tool was built by the folks who build WinXP.]
