'October 2013 Update For Root Certificate for Windows XP ' KB 931125 Installed

I do not even recall installing this software (I use the built-in XP Defrag) so I was surprised to even see it listed when I checked the 'Program Files' directory the other day.

On the http://www.pcsgo.com/how-to-uninstall-defraggler-step-by-step-guide-to-remove-unwanted-program-completely/ website, it states that Defraggler is a fake anti-virus program.

However, on the http://www.piriform.com/defraggler official Piriform website, it states that it is a legitimate piece of software similar to XP's built-in Defragmenter.

I opened the Defraggler that I have and it looks like Defragmenter. I clicked 'About' and it states Piriform Defraggler 2.14 so I assume that it is a legitimate piece of software.

I am thoroughly confused though-Are 'Piriform Defraggler' and 'Defraggler' two different programs with simila-sound names?

Is the Pirform Defraller 2.14 that I have a 'regular' piece of software like Defragmenter and the other 'Defraggler is a 'fake' malware program that can wreck havoc?

I 'ran' the Fix-it tool, chose 'Detect Problems and Apply Fixes For me-Recommended,' it asked if I was having issues with installing/uninstalling, I chose uninstalling, it brought up a list of programs, including 'Not Listed' so I chose that then it asked for a Product Code and to press 'Next'-I could not get beyond that without a Product Code.

I 'ran' it again and this time chose 'Detect Problems and Let Me Select The Fixes To Apply,' it asked if I was having issues with installing/uninstalling, I chose uninstalling, it brought up a list of programs, including 'Not Listed' so I chose that again then it asked for a Product Code and to press 'Next'-I could not get beyond that again without a Product Code.

Is there anything you can click when you see the question about a Product Code? Any choices at all you can make? Is there a field where you can type something in?

Maybe try right click Defraggler, go to Properties and then check the available tabs for mention of a "Product code".
