Hello.
I am running Windows XP Prof with IE8.
Every morning, I manually check Windows Update for 'Express' and 'Custom' updates.
This morning (Mon Mat 17/14), when I checked 'Custom' updates, there was an ''Nov 2013 Update For Root Certificate for Windows XP ' KB 931125 update.
I downloaded and installed it but this seemed odd since this update was released 4 months ago.
Why was it offered again for the first time today? No other 'earlier' root certificate updates have been offered.

Did you have a weekend? I have three questions about shutting off computer, Firefox settings, and asking if you had a good weekend but you put 'yes to both' so I did not know what 'both' you were referring to.
