My University (UWE) uses eduroam for its Wi-Fi. My Surface 2 (all updates in place as of 15th November) is unable to stay connected to this service and sometimes it won't find it at all. Have tried refreshing the Surface and all forms of manual logins my ITS department is also stumped. MS - please update our drivers to prevent this from happening. The Surface is the perfect Student device and many universities use eduroam and the web is awash with problems like mine, but currently I would be unable to recommend a Surface to my colleagues or students.

Assuming you have a copy of the old drivers stored somewhere that you can locate on your surface. 1. Go to device manager, select the wireless network controller. In my case the Marvell AVASTAR 350N. Right click the device and select uninstall. Chose the option to delete the driver and uninstall. Restart Go back to device manager, and reinstall the wireless network controller and driver this time pointing to your stored copy of the old driver. Restart Connect to Eduroam.

I have the same problem on the Surface Pro 2 with the latest drivers. Anyone know how to revert drivers to the 03-05-2013 version which apparently works?

I have the same problem with Sony Vayo Tab 11.

Agreed. This is not a sustainable approach to this problem and MS needs to address this asap.
