My University (UWE) uses eduroam for its Wi-Fi. My Surface 2 (all updates in place as of 15th November) is unable to stay connected to this service and sometimes it won't find it at all. Have tried refreshing the Surface and all forms of manual logins my ITS department is also stumped. MS - please update our drivers to prevent this from happening. The Surface is the perfect Student device and many universities use eduroam and the web is awash with problems like mine, but currently I would be unable to recommend a Surface to my colleagues or students.

I can confirm that 14.69.17064.93 works on the Surface Pro 2. There still appears to be no solution for RT users. Great to know it works, may I know where can I download it? So just a quick wrap up, I can FINAAAAAAAAAAALLY get it working on my fking Surface Pro 1, it took me days and the MS is not responding, at all. To connect, as mentioned above, you need the old driver with version: 14.69.17064.93 To get it, simply uninstall the current driver, check the box "delete the driver", don't worry as it will still be there. Then restart, and you will see the WiFi card has been installed actually, and the driver version will hopefully be 14.69.17064.93. Then follow this guide, step by step, and you should be able to get it connected. https://uwaterloo.ca/information-systems-technology/services/eduroam-wireless-network/connecting-eduroam-wireless-network/windows-81 If for some reasons you can't (I couldn't at first), try to connect to another access point, then disconnect, and connect to the eduroam again. Again, this is just a temporary solution, we won't be able to update the driver unless MS has the mercy.

If it works with an old driver it could also work with a new one => fix still required. Period.

The 14.69.17064.93 driver is the one that works for me. I have also tested the latest driver and they are not working. Make sure you delete the driver when uninstalling. I sometimes have to restart and other times it works immediately. I've tested at other Universities in Western Australia and it works.

The 14.69.17064.93 driver is the one that works for me. I have also tested the latest driver and they are not working. Make sure you delete the driver when uninstalling. I sometimes have to restart and other times it works immediately.
