My University (UWE) uses eduroam for its Wi-Fi. My Surface 2 (all updates in place as of 15th November) is unable to stay connected to this service and sometimes it won't find it at all. Have tried refreshing the Surface and all forms of manual logins my ITS department is also stumped. MS - please update our drivers to prevent this from happening. The Surface is the perfect Student device and many universities use eduroam and the web is awash with problems like mine, but currently I would be unable to recommend a Surface to my colleagues or students.

There's a whole bunch of updates coming down the tubes later today - maybe they'll help... Anybody able to test whether these new updates (out now) have made a difference to their experience? I've downloaded them but won't be at work until tomorrow to check eduroam connection. I've downloaded the updates and installed, restarted and still only limited connection on eduroam. The Marvell driver is still dated 8/10/2013 so it doesn't appear to have been updated.

Can confirm this, working fine with a dongle, problem seems to be Marvell AVASTAR 350N. Unfortunately Win8.1RT won't allow the installation of drivers for dongle...
