Connection still limited, how lever in cmd ipconfig, it says it is connected and all good, still it is not working, I am running windows 8.1 on bottcamp macbook pro 2011 model

Since installing 8.1 Pro, I'm having issues with WiFi dropping internet connectivity and always showing "Limited" when clicking on the system tray icon. When I troubleshoot the problem using the system tool it is always the gateway that is faulty. I have uninstalled/reinstalled the device drivers several times, installed the newest drivers directly from Intel, restarted the computer, etc. I can restore connectivity by turning WiFi off then back on, but the connection will drop at what seems to be random intervals. My applicable system specs are as follows;
Lenovo Y510P Laptop
Windows 8.1 Pro
Intel Centrino Wireless-N 2230
Apple Time Capsule router w/newest firmware
Needless to say this is quite an irritating bug that didn't exist prior to the update to 8.1 I hope this can be resolved quickly. Thanks!

2015-02-06T00:38:00+00:00 USB NICs are way different in the way they interact with the networking programs on the computer. The issue is most likely a third party program or the routers firmware. It could be the type of security the router is using to connect. You need to try Ethernet, clean boot, safe mode with networking to see which work and which don't. This will tell you where the issue lies.
What can happen is a new driver won't work because it does something new or different then the old driver. Then the router can't handle it or another driver from a third parry anti virus/firewall program messes up the new security and it blocks it.
Run through this and see if it helps. Using ipconfig /flushdns could help or some of the other things to clean out the setting to make sure there is a left over setting from something old that is breaking the connection.
It could also be the signal, 5ghz doesn't always work the best and it is actually recommended to use 2.4ghz.

2015-02-05T10:50:10+00:00 Yes, this is the problem. My old router 350N worked fine with Windows 8.1. My new router, AC1600. all the tests read perfectly but it does not work. My internal Windows warned told me there was a problem with the router and Windows 8.1 However when I also used a USB router adapter with the AC router, now my connection is stable.

Everything running earlier windows systems connect without a problem so can't see it being a problem with the router. my windows 8.1 connects elsewhere. when i run intel pro wireless diagnostics everything is good except it fails the ping test. another person staying here is having the same issues with w8.1.
Intel PRO, it is Aplication not the driver.
Intel PRO is unnecessary.
need driver only
If use exe instal or aplication exe , little chance of working
Uinstal all, and instali here: select driver or use exe administrator.
