Windows 8.1 touch screen not working?

Is there a touch screen bug in the final version of Windows 8.1 or is there a particular setup I need to do to get touch to work reliably?

I just installed it on my Fujitsu T902 and sometimes the touch screen responds and sometimes it doesn't. The same also applies for the digitizer.

You may try to download and install latest touch screen driver from the computer manufacturer website and check if it helps.

    this is also an issue with windows 10. So basically its a hardware issue.  If you have hardware that goes to sleep such has a hard drive or keyboard, etc. most likely the touch screen will not work. If you run on battery mode only, most likely the touch screen will not work for long. Normally it works for a few minutes and than suddenly stops. I'm no expert but if someone is going to use a touch screen laptop, it should work flawlessly for like 12 straight hours or more. Sony, just find a way to make it work and tell people the truth about the real problem.
