Just checked that the link works. Seems there are more corruptions than enough. Just a thought but when I tried to re-install the OS via Windows (upgrade option) it reported that it could not continue due to corrupt files. Is that because it uses the stored (and therefore for some reason corrupted files) rather than to use the files available on the actual disc? That would explain some of the problem. I have also had some issues with backups and MSE virus scans which looking at the report seem to be related. Anyway hopefully you will know how to repair or replace these corrupt files but it looks like it will need a general election to sort out that level of mischief.
Thanks again for your help, I do appreciate the efforts you are taking to help resolve this issue/these issues?
BTW what is a user defined break point? I have Googled it and am not any wiser. But that is probably just me being thick.
