nVidia graphic card does not show up in device manager, unable to update drivers

Original Title: NVidia graphic card disappeared

Before three weeks ago, I connected my two laptops via network sharing (but it didn't work) . After that my laptop (ASUS X52J with nVidia GeForce 310M) did not respond, it restarted. But with some errors. After that my laptop didn't detect nVidia card (detected only Intel graphic card). I uninstalled my drivers and tried to installed. But it occurred error..

"This graphic driver could not find compatible graphic hardware"

And Device manager also didn't detect the nVidia adapter..what should i do now..Please Help

    How can anyone answer if you dont give the exact error?

    Did you install both the chipset and vga drivers?

    I tried..But they didn't install. Some errors are appeared.

    Firstly I thank you, for your consideration..

    I tried you both 1st and 2nd methods. But it wasn't solved. I don't know what is my default GPU. But as I remember nVidia was the default. I didn't change my lap. This is default hardwares. And unfortunately I have no way to contact ASUS.

    Anyway I appreciate you all for helping me. If there is any solutions, please tell me..

    For a laptop, unless the laptop maker states otherwise, you obtain any drivers from that laptop makers support site

    The graphics is an onboard motherboard chip and as such may be part of the motherboard chipset drivers
