Consumer Cellular APN MMS settings not working after WP 8.1 Update

My folks' two Lumia 520s on Consumer Cellular (an AT&T MNVO) took the 8.1 upgrade without issue a couple weeks back, however they now can't receive MMS messages (a photo attached to a text message for example) anymore, the settings we used successfully previously were:

Navigate to: Settings / cellular + SIM (add Internet APN and MMS APN if not present)

Edit Internet APN:  

APN= att.mvno

Edit MMS APN:

APN= att.mvno

WAP gateway= proxy.mvno.ccmobileweb.com

WAP port= 80

MMSC= http://mmsc.cingular.com

MMSC port= 80

Maximum MMS size= 10485

Has anyone successfully gotten this to work post WP 8.1 upgrade?  Currently it indicates that there is media attached to the message but will not download it when clicked.  Thanks -

I upgraded my folks' 520s to 635s this Christmas still on Consumer Cellular and had to enable their APN settings, was able to just use the same SIM card.

The 635s come with 8.1.  These settings worked, note that to get MMS images and videos to come through I had to choose IP type as IPv4 *only*:

Edit Internet APN:

APN= att.mvno

Edit MMS APN:

APN= att.mvno

WAP gateway= proxy.mvno.ccmobileweb.com

WAP port= 80

MMSC= http://mmsc.cingular.com

MMSC port= 80

Maximum MMS size= 10485

IP Type= IPV4

Thank you thank you for posting this!!!  My husband and I just bought a pair of 635's and instantly fell in love with the format and capabilities of the phone.  We went through the 2 hour long phone call to consumer cellular with absolutely no luck (the operator ended the call with "well you must just have a phone that can't send pictures on our network").  I am so glad that I read through the message boards and found this.

The above settings work people!!!  The line that was throwing a wrench in it for me was the IP Type.  After 8.1 the default setting is IPV4V6.  After changing this to IPV4 I was able to successfully send and receive picture messages.  Thank you johnhardyiv, thank you!  I will be calling consumer cellular to inform them of the fix so they can update their "troubleshooting" software and hopefully pass this information on to others who are having this issue.

    I am working with Consumer Cellular to get the LTE working on my 635.  Bought my first 635 a few months back and it took a week and half a dozen reps for someone to get the settings correct on their side.  LTE was incredible after that.  However, the phone kept rebooting on its own.  I ended up sending it to Nokia for repair.  A week later I received a replacement.  Proceeded to call CC to provide the new serial # and get the replacement set up like the first one.  I figured it should be easier the 2nd time around.  Not the case.

    I am still stuck with only a 4G speed.  It isn't a serious issue but I know it should be LTE and I am under utilizing this phone.  The have me using ccdata for the APN and proxy.mobile.att.net.

    I'm going to call them tomorrow and get the att.mvno setup on my phone and on their side.  Hope I get this working like the first time.

    Regarding the issues sending and receiving pics and text.  I sent myself a pic and text and it fixed this issue when setting up my first phone.  Give it a try.  Also be sure like was mentioned above that you are set to IPv4.

    I am serious about refusing to update.  Over the years of being a software AND software quality assurance engineer, my mantra is:

    "IF ((it works correctly) AND (there isn't a some other compelling reason to update))

               THEN

    DON'T"

    OBTW, when I now set up a new WindowsPhone, during setup, I select NO AUTOMATIC UPDATES.  If the darn things works, leave it alone.

    I don't need someone to break it and not help me get it fixed.

    I've got more than 50 hours into this BS.
