How do I disable the new titlebar in Modern Apps?

I Hate this DAMN pull down bar as much as the next it is very frusterating...

Until they fix it you might just consider this.... Pretty obvious.

Sorry , first post here and I dont know how to put pics up clearly.... But if u zoom in u will see that all I did was hit the Square on chrome browser so that I can move it down just enough and away from that damn BAR OF ANNOYANCE

I find the titlebar most annoying in remote desktop programs - RDP, Teamviewer, Splashtop. I have closed the session when I simply meant to close a program on the host. I can reconnect, but it's annoying.

And while the desktop version of Remote Desktop is available on the Surface RT, I can only use the Modern versions of Teamviewer and Splashtop. That means I have no choice but to put up with the interceptor bar.

I agree. When you try to please everyone, we all lose.  But I see it the other way around too. We already have a perfect environment for mouse users, a special place that has been built and carefully refined over decades. We call that the desktop. So mouse users should use it.

What about mouse AND keyboard users, people coming from other operating systems/desktop environments, or people who simply don't mind learning a better way of doing things? Speaking as someone who is used to working in keyboard driven tiling window managers, Windows 8's Modern/Metro UI is a much better experience. I can just type the name of the app/document/whatever I want straight from the start screen, and I can even several apps across the screen with a few keystrokes. Admittedly, Windows 8 doesn't do this as well as, say, Ratpoison or DWM, but at least it's something! These "mouse users" you're speaking of are attached to a very inefficient, clunky way of doing things, and it's a shame that Microsoft felt the need to appease them with such a token---because it provides no real additional functionality---and regressive gesture. You say that you "can't please everyone" and to an extent that's true, but to at least allow users the choice to enable or disable this pseudo-feature would have gone a long way.

Until Someone comes up with a fix for this problem, I Usually right click the title bar to make it disappear again, without waiting, just something to mitigate the stress until the problem is fixed =)
