Mouse pointer disappear while browsing internet on Google Chrome browser

Original Title: Pointer disappears

Hello,

Recently, I've found that my pointer disappears whenever I'm on my default internet browsing site (Google Chrome). I can see it when using Internet Explore though. I have a HP Pavilion x2. I can still use even when I can't see it, which can be useful, but hard to use. I can see it everywhere else. I've tried using the troubleshoot, but it never finds anything wrong.

Manually close all of the open Google Chrome processes in your Task Manager. Restart Chrome. That's all I did and the mouse started working properly. Good luck!

There could be some issues with the Google Chrome browser settings.

I would suggest you to un-install and re-install Google Chrome browser and check.

Goto Chrome Settings

> Disable "Use hardware acceleration.."-check box.

issue will be resolved after restarting the chrome (all instances including the one in agent running in background from tasks)

    Yes this happens to my windows 10 occasionally. Search up task manager in the windows search part. Click it while chrome is open, then press end task for chrome on task manager. Finally open chrome again and it should work. Good luck.

    Here is the best thing to do: 

    In your Chrome Browser, go to settings -> Scroll all the way down to advanced -> scroll all the way down to system -> disable / unselect "Use Hardware Acceleration when available" and 'relaunch' the browser. 

    This should fix this issue. 

    No un-installation or submission of bug required. 

    This is usually a huge problem with 2-in-1's or touch screen laptops / tablets with Chrome on it. 

    This is the quick and best fix.
