Manually close all of the open Google Chrome processes in your Task Manager. Restart Chrome. That's all I did and the mouse started working properly. Good luck!
Mouse pointer disappear while browsing internet on Google Chrome browser
Original Title: Pointer disappears
Hello,
Recently, I've found that my pointer disappears whenever I'm on my default internet browsing site (Google Chrome). I can see it when using Internet Explore though. I have a HP Pavilion x2. I can still use even when I can't see it, which can be useful, but hard to use. I can see it everywhere else. I've tried using the troubleshoot, but it never finds anything wrong.

You should be trying this suggestion first.
When I initially saw this suggestion, I went into the task manager and there were no iterations of Chrome in my "Apps" list (I'm running Win8.1) so didn't think that this was the answer. I followed several easy ideas (like turning off certain mouse settings) and had zero luck with any of them so revisited this one. It seems silly that I have to uninstall and reinstall Chrome just to fix this. And from what I found, you don't have to do any of the foolishness of messing with reinstalls and reconfiguring of your mouse.
Here's the main thing to do: If you can't find Google Chrome in the "Apps" section, look in the "Background Processes" section of the task manager. I found 3 occurrences of it there and as soon as I killed those three, everything worked fine. I've had issues with other programs (not mouse cursor related) and looking in the "Background" section and killing those iterations worked every time too. I don't know why or how programs get filed in the "Background Processes" like they do, but be sure to look there as well.

This will close your tabs and reopen them in seconds. It should work now.
