Manually close all of the open Google Chrome processes in your Task Manager. Restart Chrome. That's all I did and the mouse started working properly. Good luck!

Original Title: Pointer disappears
Hello,
Recently, I've found that my pointer disappears whenever I'm on my default internet browsing site (Google Chrome). I can see it when using Internet Explore though. I have a HP Pavilion x2. I can still use even when I can't see it, which can be useful, but hard to use. I can see it everywhere else. I've tried using the troubleshoot, but it never finds anything wrong.

There could be some issues with the Google Chrome browser settings.
I would suggest you to un-install and re-install Google Chrome browser and check.

Goto Chrome Settings
> Disable "Use hardware acceleration.."-check box.
issue will be resolved after restarting the chrome (all instances including the one in agent running in background from tasks)

All I did was close Chrome through Task Manager, I then restarted my laptop, this fixed my problem.

2018-09-03T04:04:00+00:00 I had this same issue, bugged me for days.
The fix that worked for me is as follows...
On your Chrome Web browser, go to the top right, triple dot to drop down the options and go to settings, there you will be taken to a setting screen. This time go to the left side of the screen with the settings for Chrome Window...looks like three minus signs stacked on one another. Go down to Advanced Settings, and click off the Hardware Acceleration. It's going to give you a refresh or reboot button to restart your Chrome window. Once it starts up, your mouse pointer should come into view again.
As a note, I am on a Surface Pro 4, when I touch screen or flip my keyboard back, that annoying "you want to turn on tablet mode" comes on and invisible mouse pointer hell broke loose. Mouse pointers are important, old school GUI basic important.
