Copy Paste dialog not displayed in the foreground or as the focus window

every time I copy or paste & the dialog needs me to answer an overwrite, etc... the focus of the window doesn't come to the foreground of all the open windows.

VERY annoying.

Sounds like its the graphics card driver causing the issue. This isn't the expected behavior in windows. Graphics cards and shell programs can cause this issue.

    The issue described in this thread is caused by Google Chrome. You can check it yourself. Whenever the file transfer window appears hidden, open the task manager and kill EVERY SINGLE chrome.exe process. Then go ahead and make another file transfer... the file transfer window will appear on top as it is supposed to.

    Start using Firefox or IE for a period of time and you'll see that the file transfer window will ALWAYS show up like it should. 

    This is what happened to me but there might other causes/factors.

    Google has become one of the worst application programmers, or maybe they always have been.

    Google chrome is a memory hog and resource hog. For each tab it opens it opens a new browser instance. 

    In this case, my guess as a programmer, is they are performing some action repeatedly and it is taking focus away from the dialog box and moving it to the back. Or, you have google drive installed with chrome and it is doing something after explorer is dispatching the dialog box.

    Either way the fact that a browser is doing anything to effect the warning boxes windows is putting on top of everything is a sign there is a bigger issue with the browser.

    I would recommend that IE is the way to go. It is the most secure, especially since the recent update to make it really hard for attackers to exploit the most common way they attack a persons browser.

    I used to use Google stuff all the time but I left because of all the issues. Notice in that link that Android pops up a few times in the malware quarterly report. I think they estimate 10% of banking apps aren't secure.
