Ok so no error today, got error 28. & 29. but no error today after setting WSTask and Sync Licenses to run automatically at 06:00 every day. Ill report again later this week/early next week.
[W8.1 Update 1] "Windows Store failed to sync machine licenses. Result code 0x80070490"
After a clean install of windows 8.1.1 using the ISO from Technet I started getting the following error message in my event log the first time I start my machine in the morning:
Event 512 Store-Licensing "Windows Store failed to sync machine licenses. Result code 0x80070490"
I use a Microsoft account and I have synced by Modern apps many times manually. Running the scheduled task manually will also produce the same error. I disabled the Scheduled Task that runs the sync and I'll see if it shows up tomorrow. Btw, the Store seems to be working fine.
I read somewhere that the MS Store will be changed for 8.1.1 so I wonder if the 'new' store will stop these messages.
The Scheduled Task that kicks this off appears to be Microsoft/Windows/WS and is called WSRefreshBannedAppsListTask.

2014-05-30T04:32:28+00:00 Hmmm... this is getting interesting, hope @MSFT is following on this...
Adjusted mine (for both of those), I'll keep on following and reporting here.
A question: if Task trigger is set to launch every day say at 06:00, but at that time your computer is NOT on, shall it be executed then on the moment when Windows gets up and running?

According to the task definition in Task Scheduler (the "Settings" tab) it is run as soon as the scheduled start is missed. I can confirm that as I hardly ever have my PC running at 6:00.

2014-05-30T08:35:46+00:00 Well you can set "Run task as soon as possible after a scheduled start missed" in the Settings tab. But im not quite sure that this fixes the problem we are having. This is on all my computers two at home and one at work. But we will find out soon :)
