My phone is not covered by warranty but I was near a Nokia care center while on a trip to the middle east so I decided to have them check the phone. They reported that the motherboard needs replacement. I had no confidence in their diagnosis so I didn't do it not mention they wanted 250 US dollars to replaced the board. I am certain it's not the board. So I did nothing.
Nokia Lumia 930 microphone problem
Hello.
I got an issue with my Lumia 930 that i bought today.
When i've got an incomming/outgoing call the person on the other end can't hear me, but i can hear them clearly. It works when i put the call on speaker, but i want to be able to call someone and not sharing the conversation with everyone around me.
So far i've done:
Soft reset
Hard reset
Nokia Software recovery tool
Does anyone have this issue?
Is there a fix for this or should i return it?

2015-03-05T13:26:16+00:00 Same problem here. Lumia support have been relatively helpful over Twitter, but nothing so far has resolved the issue. That includes:
- soft reset
- Nokia recovery tool
- Re-flash of generic UK euro image
- Re-flash of VF UK image
I've taken into the store today to be sent off for assessment. 10 working days wait time but will update the results here.

2015-03-05T18:11:38+00:00 Hello!
I rectify the matter with the microphone! It took two days for the Nokia Service Center to fix the issue. However, now I'm facing critical issue with the same phone. The display is on when I'm on call. Again the Nokia Centre has diagnosed with sensor failure and wants to replace the motherboard of the phone. It takes another few days to do the repair.
I bought the phone on 11 February 2015 and for last three weeks I went to service centre for four times. Mind you, I have other works than visiting service centre. I lost considerable amount of time and money from driving to service centre and being in the queue.
I'm critically thinking where is your quality, what happen to customer expectation?
