Nokia Lumia 930 microphone problem

Hello.

I got an issue with my Lumia 930 that i bought today.

 When i've got an incomming/outgoing call the person on the other end can't hear me, but i can hear them clearly. It works when i put the call on speaker, but i want to be able to call someone and not sharing the conversation with everyone around me.

So far i've done:

Soft reset

Hard reset

Nokia Software recovery tool

Does anyone have this issue?

Is there a fix for this or should i return it?

    i read somewhere else that the denim update fixed this for a user so lets hope it will work for everyone. i still cant get the denim update. ms is rolling it out painfully slow.

    This is just ridiculous, we all paid a hefty price for a 930 and this is what we get. I understand there are problems but atleast acknowledge them!? MS/Nokia have remained completely silent regarding this matter. If Lumia Denim really does fix this problem where the f*** is it? Considering just doing some sketchy sideload of lumia denim just to rid of this annoying bug.

    I have the same problem. Cortana works, phone works, put it on speaker nothing can be heard on the other end. It's just that i can hear myself on the phone. Is there any official information on that? If that many people have the same problem, I guess it is not a hardware issue?

    I got the denim update for my 930. It did improve cortana; it can now hear me. but i cant do the "hey cortana" training because that doesnt hear me apparently. And mic levels are now very low for me in Skype and OneNote and other sound recording apps when used in speakerphone mode (before the denim update i could use speakerphone in skype and the recording was loud enough, but cortana couldnt hear me). And when movie recording the recorded sound is much louder and seems ok.

    It seems ms just isn't able to get the 4 mics (or more?) working together. And this is supposed to be a flagship phone? And why is there no official announcement about this?

    Besides software problems l was a big fan of Nokia phones but the 930 l brought came only with a charger for $500 and have not been able to find a Nokia headset or cover in any of the local shops. Nokia use to lead the way with great accessories with purchase but now u get nothing why?
