Nokia Lumia 930 microphone problem

Hello.

I got an issue with my Lumia 930 that i bought today.

 When i've got an incomming/outgoing call the person on the other end can't hear me, but i can hear them clearly. It works when i put the call on speaker, but i want to be able to call someone and not sharing the conversation with everyone around me.

So far i've done:

Soft reset

Hard reset

Nokia Software recovery tool

Does anyone have this issue?

Is there a fix for this or should i return it?

    hi dear mahdavi

    im from iran and my brother has 930 also.he has these problem with his smartphone.there is some problem in mic that can record the sound in sound recorder apps.also in conversation in speaker mode, the other side person can not hear you.also you can not talk to Cortana.you can just type in Cortana.we did soft and hard reset but we can,t to solve this problem.

    why MS/NOKIA is Not Answering? I wish Iran Was Banned By This Company So i could Never Buy this Phone.

    The best reply for the microphone malfunction in Lumia 930 is found on page 1 and marked as answer for this long thread.

    If you are sure that nothing is blocking any of the 4 small microphone holes in the Lumia 930, then the phone is mechanically defective and need repair.

    Screen protectors and protective covers are known to cause microphone trouble.

    Remove those and test again is the only troubleshooting step for this issue to try at home, before taking the phone to a qualified technician for repair.

    Thanks for the professional and stable calm reply :)

    the funny thing for most of us is the fact the mic behaviour changed the day we went from cyan to denim!

    eveything works great for me with the mics except speakerphone! Event Cortona works for me!!!

    but I have to return my phone since after 4 'recoveries', testing windows 10 TP and recovering once again....my mics still don't function properly.

    every thing was ok before the  cyan or denim Updates

    Nothing Block the holes , the phone never hurt and nothing . that's software Problems
