Nokia Lumia 930 microphone problem

Hello.

I got an issue with my Lumia 930 that i bought today.

 When i've got an incomming/outgoing call the person on the other end can't hear me, but i can hear them clearly. It works when i put the call on speaker, but i want to be able to call someone and not sharing the conversation with everyone around me.

So far i've done:

Soft reset

Hard reset

Nokia Software recovery tool

Does anyone have this issue?

Is there a fix for this or should i return it?

    Exact same issue.

    Running Redstone build, have been an insider since inception of w10m.

    Funnily enough I tried the video recording as the comment above stated it worked in redstone, it DOES :D

    HOWEVER, I cannot access test mode on my device, it repeats the boot loop described above by Robbie...

    Should I hard reset my phone in the hopes of being able to test the microphones in test UI? Once that is done, I'm going to get which ever microphones are broken repaired and then wait for Microsoft to fix remaining issues...

    Thoughts? Tips? Help?

    I'm going away in 2 months and would really like the Lumia 930 to shine with is camera however as it currently stands I'm almost at breaking point. lol.

    Help plz xx

    I have just downloaded the Lumia Phone Test Application & it just hangs on the phone is switching to test mode screen.

    On the phone itself it shows two arrows forming a circle then a lightning bolt next to a smaller cog for a few seconds then it just boots into W10M. After a couple of minutes it repeats the same cycle.

    Does anyone have this same issue?

    I have exact same problem. But now i am on redstone and mics are working properly while video recording. Although not on loadspeaker and whatsapp.

    Try the Lumia Phone Test Application again (fresh-redownload). I just used it and the 3rd and 4th microphones do not work while the 1st and 2nd work perfectly. This is clearly what is causing the issue - some applications using dead microphones and not self-testing as you might expect them to.
