Nokia Lumia 930 microphone problem

Hello.

I got an issue with my Lumia 930 that i bought today.

 When i've got an incomming/outgoing call the person on the other end can't hear me, but i can hear them clearly. It works when i put the call on speaker, but i want to be able to call someone and not sharing the conversation with everyone around me.

So far i've done:

Soft reset

Hard reset

Nokia Software recovery tool

Does anyone have this issue?

Is there a fix for this or should i return it?

    I am really frustrated with this issue and the lack of response from Microsoft or Nokia.. The sad thing is I don't know what else to do.

    Hi,

    I have noticed I'm also having issues while on speakerphone and have narrowed it down to the fact that that when I put my phone on speaker, only the top back mic near the camera works - the other two seem to turn off

    I just bought this phone here in the USA and am having this issue. It does not seem to be an isolated problem. No mic function while on speaker phone and cortana learning my voice was a terrible experience. I have had many windows phones, this being the 4th from Nokia, and this is the biggest problem I have encountered.

    What can we do to get this resolved in a timely manner and not be without a phone in the mean time? Being loyal customers and all.

    Hello, nuwan77. We understand where you're coming from. To clarify, does this happen regardless of your location and network signal? Can you try recording an audio file using a 3rd party recorder app? This is for us to further isolate the issue.

    For your other concern, our technicians will require several days to perform some tests on the phone. Have you coordinated this with the retailer to inquire about their return policy? We'll wait for your reply.

    I bought my Lumia 930 just 15 days back. I used the speaker phone only yesterday and later realized that the recipient can't hear my voice. Further, I found that it happens for both incoming and outgoing calls. I’m really disappointed with the issue, because it’s a flagship and targeted the high end customer base with the launch of 930. I would like to know whether Microsoft is having any quality control procedure.

    Further, local agent wants one full week to check and fix the problem, its absurd!

    Why have I purchased this phone!

    Really disappointed…
