Hello.

I got an issue with my Lumia 930 that i bought today.

 When i've got an incomming/outgoing call the person on the other end can't hear me, but i can hear them clearly. It works when i put the call on speaker, but i want to be able to call someone and not sharing the conversation with everyone around me.

So far i've done:

Soft reset

Hard reset

Nokia Software recovery tool

Does anyone have this issue?

Is there a fix for this or should i return it?

    I dont think we even have an MS care center in Croatia. And even if we did, I wouldn't take it there for this is clearely a software error. And I wouldn't give my phone to t-com butchers because my phone would come back scratched and flimsy. I think that when someone takes it apart once, it never is the same. After a few weeks my screen came out of the frame in two places for 1 mm and every time I get a haircut for the first couple of days it pinches me every time I talk. I like windows on my phone and I like nokia, but this is too much. Prior to 930 I had 920 which my wife uses now. It has problems with primary microphone. If she moves her mouth even the slightes off the mic, she sounds like echoe from the water well or another room. Same thing on 1020. They are loosing customers - when I speak to someone new on my phone, they say, aha, windows phone. Because everyone knows windows phones have this problem.

    So not much to add except that I have the same problem.

    Under the guidance of the @LumiaHelp twitter account I tried everything from rebooting to using the Windows Phone Recovery Tool to reinstall the OS. Nothing seems to make a difference. In the end they suggested taking it to a MS care point location, but my nearest one is about 300 miles away.

    To be clear, what works:

    * Normal phone calls

    * Skype audio calls made as a phone call (against the ear)

    * Hey Cortana

    * Cortana queries started by holding the search button

    * Cortana queries started by pressing the microphone button from within Cortana

    What doesn't work:

    * Normal phone calls on speakerphone

    * Skype audio calls on speakerphone

    * Skype video calls

    * OneNote audio notes

    * The microphone test in the app 'Hardware Tests'

    And by 'doesn't work' I mean the microphone is very, very quiet. If I call the Skype test service and shout at it on speaker mode, I can just hear myself when the message is played back.

    I think we can all relax and switch back to android or iOS,cause 930 is not the only phone with mic problems.I had 920,928 ,1020,and now 930 ,and all of them had the same problem, but with the first mic,930 has with the second.The only way to slove was by replacing the mics on others.It's almost like Microsoft is intentionally doing this thing so you can buy change parts from them.Ok it was a joke , but anyway they are not interested at all about this issue,even if it seems that people are desperate.Well,we should be desperate,it's not a cheap phone!.The only thing i think of now is that any model that they will bring out will have same problems,so why stick with Nokia?I myself am ,or was, a big fan , but not anymore.I'm not a manager or a bussiness planer,but i think i known that this is not how you treat your customer!We are talking about Nokia here, not a company that was build yesterday.You should be ashamed NOKIA!

    Really disappointing... I can´t believe that MS is doing nothing to get this issue fixed. I have the same problem with my 930, I don't remember if it was fine before the last Denim update but now it's getting more annoying every day. It's seems to be a soft issue to my as sometimes seems to be random when to work or not, even in the same app.

    Please Microsoft, get this issue fixed before we all high end Lumias users switch back to iPhone. Thanks.
