Windows Live Mail can not copy hyperlinks from one e-mail to another.

Hey all.

Long story short, I am writing this for my mother who current runs a dog boarding business as well as various other e-mail accounts, ranging from fan clubs to personal ones. She has a draft e-mail saved which contains information and links she would COPY and PASTE into e-mails prior to sending them. Essentially, these are signatures. No matter which signature she copies and pastes, each one has at least one weblink.

As of yesterday, when copying and pasting that information, the link does not copy with the text. Instead of pasting the text as a hyperlink, like she has been able to, it simply shows the text without any clickable option.

I have double checked the options, Read all messages in plain text is unticked, as well as the Mail Sending Format and News Sending Formation both being set to HTML.

Can anyone help please?

    Hi Chris,  I discovered another wrinkle in the WLM fabric in that formatted fonts when copied and pasted do not replicate correctly.

    I do text layouts for people with different fonts/sizes and have to paste that into other emails or paste different versions onto the same email.

    That is also not working, so it seems to be a copying anything that is not standard default in WLM.

    The email links not working on outbound mail for just today was super sucky. I won't make it for more than a few days.    No comments from Microsoft mods?

    I have some problems copying into WLM.  Material from Word retains its font, size and colour but copying from the web always defaults to Times New Roman, 12, when pasted.  I can't see a place to change this default.

    No news yet on the big problem with loss of hyperlink....

    I just noticed this problem today, I use hyperlinks in the signatures of all outgoing emails as social media links.

    I wrote in an earlier post that links in signatures weren't affected. Are you saying that the same fault arises with links in your signatures? It would be helpful to see the markup (message source) of a message with a signature where the link has been corrupted.

    As I don't use signatures I can't comment.  My issue is with the 3-6 hyperlinks I have embedded in various word documents which are cut and pasted ino the body of the WLM email.  This has worked for years and seems to have stopped at or around the time my laptop upgraded itself to Win 8.1, a process that took some hours.

    Do Apple Mac users get these problems?

    ... which involved the simultaneous upgrade to IE 11, which is the one common factor in the cases we've seen.
