Windows Live Mail can not copy hyperlinks from one e-mail to another.

Hey all.

Long story short, I am writing this for my mother who current runs a dog boarding business as well as various other e-mail accounts, ranging from fan clubs to personal ones. She has a draft e-mail saved which contains information and links she would COPY and PASTE into e-mails prior to sending them. Essentially, these are signatures. No matter which signature she copies and pastes, each one has at least one weblink.

As of yesterday, when copying and pasting that information, the link does not copy with the text. Instead of pasting the text as a hyperlink, like she has been able to, it simply shows the text without any clickable option.

I have double checked the options, Read all messages in plain text is unticked, as well as the Mail Sending Format and News Sending Formation both being set to HTML.

Can anyone help please?

    Windows Live Mail Stuff

    A Copy of the above link in a Windows Live Mail email in Windows 8.1 would just paste Windows Live Mail Stuff.

    A Copy of the above link in a Windows Live Mail email in Windows 7 would paste a broken link because it would include <A style.

    Only Copy shortcut copies and then pastes a link in Windows 7 and Windows 8.1.

    I did copy a link from a web page but it had complete style code.  Only Copy shortcut worked.

    I would like to run more tests, but currently do not have the time.

    "wlmail.exe"=dword:00002AF9

    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\FeatureControl\FEATURE_BROWSER_EMULATION]

    "wlmail.exe"=dword:00002AF9

    Save as hoge.reg, double click the file, reboot pc.

    If this is a solution to the problem, how do I implement it?  I just tried (yet again) to copy text including URL's from a Word document into Live Mail and all URL's arrived as blue text, not underlined, and certainly not as links.

    Thanks Ron, but this does not help.  I want to copy chunks of boilerplate text from MS Word (where it is maintained and updated) with several embedded URL's into Livemail.  This has worked going right back to XP through Win 7 and Win 8.0 and only broke with Microsoft's automatic update to 8.1 last November.

    Solved?  Really?  Win 7?  Win 8.0?  Win 8.1?  WLM 2011?  WLM 2012?

    I am not a programmer, just an everyday user, your Solution does not help me.

    This sounds just like a Work Around.  If it is "The Solution", will Microsoft issue an Update?
