Windows Live Mail can not copy hyperlinks from one e-mail to another.

Hey all.

Long story short, I am writing this for my mother who current runs a dog boarding business as well as various other e-mail accounts, ranging from fan clubs to personal ones. She has a draft e-mail saved which contains information and links she would COPY and PASTE into e-mails prior to sending them. Essentially, these are signatures. No matter which signature she copies and pastes, each one has at least one weblink.

As of yesterday, when copying and pasting that information, the link does not copy with the text. Instead of pasting the text as a hyperlink, like she has been able to, it simply shows the text without any clickable option.

I have double checked the options, Read all messages in plain text is unticked, as well as the Mail Sending Format and News Sending Formation both being set to HTML.

Can anyone help please?

    I've noticed a unique exception.  When I use Windows Live Mail on my Vista laptop, I have not problem, pasted hyperlink, pastes in hyperlink format.  But when I do it on Windows Live Mail on my desktop running Windows 7, it won't format as a hyperlink, unless I hit a carriage return after it.  Seems like a Win 7 quirkiness?

    I had no problem on my Windows 7 laptop for years -- the problem only started after I updated to Internet Explorer 11. Someone on this thread said they reverted back to Internet Explorer 10 and the problem disappeared. But I seem to be stubborn about taking a step back and, perhaps foolishly, want Microsoft to fix this! Maybe being a stubborn old coot goes along with being an old fart!?

    Though I have criticism for Microsoft, I also have a two-year-old iMac in the house and my experiences with the Apple 'Geniuses' is no better. In fact, Apple is the 'Queen of denial' when there is a problem with its products.

    Thank god I found this thread. Come on Microsoft, sort it out. I've had a few problems with IE11 and have had to remove it from all our work PCs.

    I had been stuck trying to work out why my links were not working for days and didn't realise the update of IE11 had snuck past me!

    Same problem, copying and pasting links from email templates and as a small business we send lots out like this each day.

    I will remove IE11 as its Windows 7 but I feel for those who may have chose the new Windows 8 for their business needs and have lost the ability to use email templates with links.
