The problem persists.
I've experienced the complaints listed in this thread, but came here by referral from
¡Firedog who answered my form of the problem, which is copying web articles containing hyperlinks and pasting into WLM email messages and having the links turn to plain text.

This phenomenon surfaced with the introduction of Internet Explorer 11. There is no known antidote other than reverting to IE 10 where possible.
My awkward solution was to use a different mail program, Mozilla Thunderbird, on another computer,
to compose and format emails with copied and pasted web articles (no problem with retaining hyperlinks), sending to myself, and then retrieving them on my main computer (links intact) -- I could then forward them without loss of the hyperlinks. Lots more
work involved, since I send articles to my email list every day. So I'm considering the suggestion to backpedal to IE 10.
Hoping for a solution from Microsoft soon (or from some genius sooner!).
