Windows Live Mail can not copy hyperlinks from one e-mail to another.

Hey all.

Long story short, I am writing this for my mother who current runs a dog boarding business as well as various other e-mail accounts, ranging from fan clubs to personal ones. She has a draft e-mail saved which contains information and links she would COPY and PASTE into e-mails prior to sending them. Essentially, these are signatures. No matter which signature she copies and pastes, each one has at least one weblink.

As of yesterday, when copying and pasting that information, the link does not copy with the text. Instead of pasting the text as a hyperlink, like she has been able to, it simply shows the text without any clickable option.

I have double checked the options, Read all messages in plain text is unticked, as well as the Mail Sending Format and News Sending Formation both being set to HTML.

Can anyone help please?

    My awkward solution was to use a different mail program, Mozilla Thunderbird, on another computer,

    to compose and format emails with copied and pasted web articles (no problem with retaining hyperlinks), sending to myself, and then retrieving them on my main computer (links intact) -- I could then forward them without loss of the hyperlinks. Lots more work involved, since I send articles to my email list every day. So I'm considering the suggestion to backpedal to IE 10.

    I also did something like that but it was a lot of extra work.

    I uninstalled IE11 and now everything's ok. 

    But what is Microsoft doing?

    It would be really nice to see some official response from Microsoft acknowledging the problem and giving a timescale for rectification.  Is this asking too much when they are inconveniencing millions of their customers w/wide?  Presumably they are aware they have screwed up?

    The problem persists.

    I've experienced the complaints listed in this thread, but came here by referral from ¡Firedog who answered my form of the problem, which is copying web articles containing hyperlinks and pasting into WLM email messages and having the links turn to plain text.

    ¡Firedog's reply:

      This phenomenon surfaced with the introduction of Internet Explorer 11. There is no known antidote other than reverting to IE 10 where possible.

    Hi folks,  I'm also impacted by trying to copy links from other emails.  Looking at the message trial is a bit tough to follow with some of the technical jargon. 

    What I've concluded is this is still a problem and so is there a place to officially log our complaints and is there any kind of escalation path?

    Modify the draft e-mail source file as follows:

    <HEAD>

    <style> a {CURSOR: pointer;}</style>

    </HEAD>

    Or make the draft e-mail using the above E-mail Message template.
