Suggest you get a Micosoft Moderator from Micosoft Community to obtain a case number from Micosoft. Have MS support help to solve the problem. If they are unable to help then do an in place installation of Windows 8.1. This worked for me several months ago and am still run 81 with the update.
Windows update KB2919355 fails to install - Error code 800F0922
Windows 8.1 Update for x64-based Systems (KB2919355)
Installation status: Failed
Error details: Code 800F0922
System got to 89% then said it couldn't complete the updates and that it would back out the updates. 15 minutes later, I'm back where I started.
Is it possible windows defender or other virus scanner blocked this update?

2014-06-16T01:51:32+00:00 I have tried all of the fixes presented and I get encouraged that I finally found the fix, but my machine still fails to install KB2919355 every single night. I have always had 'Automatic Update' clicked on, and when I check to see the reason for failure, it gives code 800F0922.
I don't see that there are any partition problems, but then I don't see that I have a "system reserved partition". All partitions indicate 'Healthy'. Running Windows 8.1 on a rather new computer that came loaded with 8.0. As near as I can tell, I don't have Cisco VPN client, at least I can't find it if I do, checked registry and don't see it there.
I ran the DISM cleanup and restore health and was encouraged that some 'corrupt' files were 'fixed'. Restarted and proceeded to download the Windows updates and after about 30 or 40 minutes and 100% completed, it concludes again that ....we can't complete the install and we're rolling back, which of course takes another 30 minutes.
This is taking entirely too much time, energy, and effort! Any new help???
