I am trying to connect and stream video and pictures from my Windows 7 Pc to my Xbox One. I finally got my Pc to add the Xbox One to my Wireless Devices but now it's asking me to update my Digital Media Renderer Driver. When I click on Apply Fix it goes through the motions then an error message pops up. It says that their isn't a driver for the Digital Media Renderer and that there's trouble with PnP devices? The Xbox 360 was easy to connect but for some reason the Xbox One is having trouble. Please help. Thank you

I'm betting you just have to open Windows Media Player on the PC and check two things under Stream. Allow remote control of my player and the most important; Automatically allow devices to play my media. Then if you click more streaming options, you should see your Xbox has full access granted now! Ignore the Digital Media Renderer driver error, it's not an issue here...

Have to agree that this response was ridiculous. The problem is with the Microsoft drivers for a Microsoft device for a Microsoft OS. Seems like you should try to be more helpful.
For what it's worth, I did what vonoventwin suggested and it worked. I still have a little warning triangle displayed next to the device under "devices and printers." But streaming does work. This is what it looks like under Properties for the device.
I have the same problem.
Microsoft: you are pushing your customers to use Apple Ipad/Iphone's and Airplay to Apple TV, which at least can be made to work.
I was having the same problem so I found this and updating the settings in windows media player worked.
Lol, since apple works with everything I would definitely go that route. I'm sure you won't run into any problems there.(sarcasm)
This is what I did to get it to work.
Firstly I removed my PC from my homegroup by going to Network and sharing center in the control panel.
Next I went in to Control panel > System and security > Administrative tools.
Go into Services.
Find "Windows media player network sharing service" and stop it.
Find "UPnP Device host" and stop it, then start it again.
Go back to "Windows media player network sharing service" and start it again.
Close all the windows down and start up WMP, it should work now, good luck. I found removing my pc from my homegroup was the most important step.
