MMX353G 3G driver for Windows 8.1

Hi friends,

If you are still having trouble in Win 8.1 (like me as i was facing this and found the solution)...just follow all these steps

In place of Win 7 as compatibility select Win Xp SP3 as Compatibility mode while installing the modem software..

after that follow these steps..

Go to 

C:\Program Files (x86)\MMX353G 3G USB Manager\Driver\WinXP64

Copy the file-------cmnsusbser.sys

and paste it in

C:\Windows\System32\drivers.

Go back to the folder again------ C:\Program Files (x86)\MMX353G 3G USB Manager\Driver\WinXP64

Right click and install...

 cmnsmdm-->right click->install--->ok

  cmnsser-->right click-->install-->ok

After this restart the system once...

Also make sure you open the "MMX353G 3G USB Manager.exe" on desktop using Win Xp Sp3 compatibility mode..

The modem will be detected and will work fine!!!!

Tried and tested on latest Win 8.1 Pro with Media center ( Latest Dec'2014).

Finally i had solve the issue  of Micromax MMX353G USB Modem "No Device found in Windows8/8.1" by this simple steps.

1)Before install open the setup file(all the .exe files)-->right click-->properties-->compatibility-->enable 'run this program in compatibility mode'-->select Windows 7

2)Install the MMX353G software,it shows Install Drivers...FAIL! and promote you to Restart your PC.

3)Restart and ensure the  MMX353G icon in the desktop is in compatibility mode(already it should be in compatibility mode after installing)

4)And go  to the c:\program files(x86)\MMX353G 3G USB MANAGER\driver\Win7_64\

here you find the following files and do the following methods.

   i) cmnsmdm-->right click->install--->ok

ii) cmnsser-->right click-->install-->ok

5)Thats all...run the program you will find that network is searching and Available.

Initially it did not worked for me. Then I ran Compatibility Check, it automatically installed for compatible version. After that I followed your 3rd and 4th step, at 4th step sub point (ii) it asked for restart again( I think it is the sign to start ;-) ).

That's all. It is working perfectly now.
