Original title: problem while updating

I am not able to login. whenever i start my pc it shows"we couldn't complete the updates Undoing anges don't turn off your computer"   I am seeing this screen since  24 hrs.

Do you remember which Windows Updates you were trying to install?

I would suggest you to refer to this article and perform the troubleshooting.

Clean Boot: After troubleshooting in a Clean Boot state, make sure to place the computer back to Normal Startup Mode following the same link.

    unbelievable

    As so many have already said - we cannot do anything because the screen that is 'undoing changes' is preventing the computer from loading to give us access to all the wonderful fixes everyone keeps listing here. And, no, F8 and F7 with or without shift doesn't work. And I tried the media creation tool to fix by downloading that to a flash drive (from another computer) and putting that into the computer with the problem - but it doesn't boot to the flash drive. It just goes back to the undoing changes screen and sits there for hours.

    Apologies if this replies to someone's specific post because that is not my intention.

    I have the same problem and I need to know what I can do to stop this process. Like the OP, I am seeing the screen constantly with no change and no prospect of update. I would like to know how to get back to normal. Can someone tell me what to do?

    Specific details about my situation are that I removed my battery and power supply and it returned to doing the same action (I'm not sure if it returned to the same stage but back to same process for sure) and another thing, it seemed to come to a halt at either 66% completion of installing the updates (attempted installation) or 66% completion of the undoing of the changes- I wish I could know for sure.

    Can someone please help?

    I just need to stop this and go back to normal.

    I have windows 8 on Lenovo G50-45
