I am not able to login. whenever i start my pc it shows"we couldn't complete the updates Undoing anges don't turn off your computer"
I am seeing this screen since 24 hrs.

Do you remember which Windows Updates you were trying to install?

Clean Boot: After troubleshooting in a Clean Boot state, make sure to place the computer back to Normal Startup Mode following the same link.

My desktop computer with Windows 8.1 64 bit has the same problem.
I have found that after it has run through the update and undoing the updates thing 3 times my computer eventually starts normally. However those 3 updates and undoing's take around 10 to 15 minutes to finish.
I don't not know how to fix these problems as I am just a normal person without an advanced degree in computer science. I would hope that the people that created the problem would now go ahead and fix it.
My computer used to work and I should not be the one to have to try and fix Microsoft's mess.
I am seeing this issue today. I took the advice of installing updates in groups of five. After the 4th or 5th try, I found out it does not matter what update I try to install, it is going to do the roll back. Seeing as ehis thread is over a year old, how come Microsoft hasn't either removed the bad updates, or updated the Update code to fix this issue.
Yes Microsoft are not really interested in fixing something once they have our money. Maybe they are creating this problem on purpose to force us to spend more money by having to buy Windows 8.1 all over again and do a new install. Unfortunately for me my new computer came with Windows 8.1 already installed on it. I cannot go through the laborious task of a new install without spending a lot of money.
Microsoft should fix the problems that they have created...NOT US.
I can't beleive it, this post here since December 2013 and it is still not fixed by Microsoft? I bught my HP Envy Pfoenix 810-160 just a few weeks ago, and after automatic updates I've got this message "We coudn't complete the update.. don't turn off your computer.."
I can't do anything, I don't have installation DVD, I just did have time to create it. What should I do? Return this computer to the store?
