Error: 0x800F0922 when installing KB 2919355

This error may appear for multiple reasons. Some common causes are VPN clients and an unexpected System Reserved Partition size.

Try removing any VPN Clients and attempt the update again.

You might be able to fix this problem by using third-party software to increase the size of the System Reserved partition.

If you have tried both solutions and you still experience Error 0x800F0922 please contact Microsoft Support so that we can further investigate your issue.

    How do I know I have a VPN client, and once I find it, how do I uninstall it?  I've been trying to find an answer to these two questions, as I'm not as knowledgeable at computers as others are, but I've not found any answers.

    Try removing any VPN Clients and attempt the update again.

    I tried to remove Shrew Soft VPN Client for Windows but it failed to uninstall producing several errors during uninstall process (This has never happened before). Every network connection became unusable, system says that drivers are installed improperly on repair attempt.

    I am using external LAN card since...

    Interesting that update history has one record with Succeeded KB 2919355.

    1. I don’t have a VPN client’s installed;
    2. Disk management displays System Reserve Partition size 360MB with a Free Space of 360MB;
    3. And the Partition system software I downloaded displays the unused at 323.34MB;
    4. I have tried all the MS suggestions that have been posted, many many times during days of unproductive efforts, a huge waste of time;
    5. I am still getting error 0x8000F0922, every morning when the automatic update tries, and fails to install KB2919355.

    Now to my question to Microsoft: are your seriously working on a solution to this problem which I hope you will provide before the new deadline of June 9^th^? If this is the case than I will stop my useless and frustrating involvement in trying to get out of your update fiasco. If the answer is negative, well the only solution is to revert to Windows 8, which looks and feel like a repeat of Vista!!

    What a shame.
